I needed an engine replacement and went with Automotive Edge because they deal with my warranty. There were a few snags in the beginning but dealing with Crystal, Matt and the mechanics there made this stressful situation much easier. They have been very accommodating with a few issues that have come up. Definitely showed they cared and wanted to do everything they could to make sure I was happy. I highly recommend and would use them again 💯

I had an oil change done at a local garage. They had me running back and forth for 2 weeks. My car completely emptied of oil in my garage. I took it to AE...they were professional from minute one and completely transparent They had to contact the first garage to notify they had caused the damage. I confronted the garage and they agreed to pay. The person from the first business that damaged the car did not show up to pay the bill as agreed. The staff at front desk had to call several times over 2days to try to get him in to pay my bill so car could be released. They kept me updated from the first contact with them. Through diagnosis..repair..having to contact the other garage numerous times...and supporting me thru the stress of this entire situation. I cannot recommend this garage highly enough . Fantastic transparent service. Bravo

My truck has had some issues lately and our previous (now) garage gave up on it after 3 months. AE fixed it in less than a day! I recently broke my wrist and the truck sat again. My husband said there’s a current draw that killed the battery. After getting a new battery, we had AE look for the problem. They found it hidden behind the radio! The truck had a previous locator installed there and it was defective. All is well now with this removed and I thank the brilliant crew at Automotive Edge!

I do most of my own maintenance work on my vehicles having worked in the industry nearly 50 years. We discovered a serious safety issue with my car while my son and I were swapping winter to summer wheels at home. Despite being fully booked, Crystal said they'd try to accommodate repair next day if I brought the car in. By 11am I had a very reasonable estimate and by 3pm the car was ready for pick up. Truly awesome service.

Renovations in 2024 added a nice waiting room. Could use blinds because the sun makes the tv almost impossible to view. Great and friendly staff. Same for the owner. Loaner vehicles are available complete with winter tires for winter months

Had numerous issues with my 2012 hyundai elantra and after one shop found the main harness completely corroded Greg from automotive edge suggested I bring it in. Greg was excited to take on the task and during the process the shop kept me updated with daily (sometimes multiple updates a day) calls. Overall extremely satisfied with Automotive edge and the staffs professionalism and pricing!

I have been looking for an alternative to taking my 12 year old vehicle to the dealership or some random garage and heard many ads on 570 news but waited until today to finally stop in. Krystle fully explained the diagnostic process and knew which questions to ask regarding the mechanical problem. I hadn't planned on leaving my car there but they encouraged me to do so for the inspection and even gave me a Mercedes as loaner to use to get me home and to work in the morning. Both she and her colleague made me feel welcome and answered many of the questions I had. I can't wait to see the diagnosis and recommended repairs and feel confident that they will offer several options that are best suited to my needs and budget and expertly fix the problem. Picked up my car today (September 27) and all the work was done as requested without any additional sales pressure or unexpected expenses and as quoted. Nearly $800 for service and a few other items still seems like a major expense but you cannot put a price on safety and I now longer have to listen to the awful scrapping noise and I have the use of my emergency brake again!

These guys are awesome to deal with. The staff there is fantastic. Tyler walked me through my vehicle's diagnosis very throughly. Once they got into the vehicle they realized that the issue was different that originally diagnosed. Ended up saving a significant amount of money than originally quoted, which is always nice. Highly recommend checking these guys out if you ever need assistance with your vehicle. 10/10

I can't say enough about this place, the owner Matt, and his great staff. I was looking to purchase a car in Cambridge and, as I am from out of town, needed to find a good, local mechanic for a pre-purchase inspection. Matt's shop came highly recommended. Unfortunately, with travel time, they would have needed the car for longer than the seller was willing to part with it. I dealt with both Becky and Krystle over the phone who were incredibly helpful and accommodating. They truly wanted to help me out. I was back and forth calling between the dealership and Becky and Krystle and they were really committing to helping me figure out how to get this car inspected. More so than the dealer that was trying to sell me the car. Matt went above and beyond for me by going to see the car at the dealer's go-to shop, driving 30 minutes out of his way. Remember, I don't live locally and so he was doing this despite knowing he may never have my business again. Having said all that, I can't recommend this shop enough. If you are looking for a trustworthy mechanic who goes above and beyond to make his customers happy, this is the place. Well done, Becky, Krystle and Matt. You are an impressive team.

I first brought my vehicle here a few months ago when my brakes suddenly gave out. The wonderful people here were able to work with my budget to fix the issues. They also diagnosed some other issues that I was not prepared to fix at that time. Fast forward to yesterday, I was ready to start to tackle some of the issues with my vehicle. As a young person trying to get by in today's economy, it is not always easy to come up with the money to have car repairs done. Once again, this fantastic team worked with me to find the most cost effective solution to fix the issues. I left there with tears in my eyes (happy tears) because I know they went above and beyond. The owner helped me to fix a large dent in my bumper that was affecting my steering just out of the kindness of his heart. They fixed the holes in my exhaust and tightened a loose wheel bearing. They charged me far less than they could have and for that I am so incredibly grateful beyond words. The entire team at this shop truly cares and they go above and beyond. From Krystle at the front desk, to the guys working on my vehicle to the owner - thank you from the bottom of my heart! I have and will continue to recommend you to anyone that will listen.

Wow! The customer service from start-to-finish would be hard to top! Krystle called me back when I requested an appointment. She was courteous, knowledgeable and so easy to deal with. I booked an appointment for the same day and was surprised beyond belief to get a loaner vehicle! They provided a comprehensive estimate with items that needed repair as well as multiple items they had checked that did not need repairing-such great peace of mind! Incredibly skilled and knowledgeable technicians. Matt & Greg have serviced multiple vehicles of mine, from German to Korean and good old fashion American classics. Im bringing my elderly dodge ram in tomorrow for a safety inspection and some other jobs. Hourly rate is good. Most importantly, they are honest and retain availability while still being on a busy booking schedule. 3 years ago, my Audi broke down before I had to take a trip down to Owen Sound for a few weeks for work. Matt and his team graciously offered to take my car and short notice, and loaned me a shop owned Toyota corolla free of charge. Do business here. There prices on parts are honest, and their hourly rate is efficient.

Simply the best hand held mechanical service I've ever experienced. They were courteous, patient, informative and fair priced. They got my car in and fixed it the same day ahead of their estimated completion day. They helped me with a car to use while they had my car in. The staff was friendly and polite. This is ONE reason of many I decided to leave VW and become a returning client at Automotive Edge!! I don’t know any other place providing such a detailed report of your vehicle with notes, videos and diagrams that answers many questions for you. The report is laid out in such a way to let you know what the shop would recommend you take care of 1st, 2nd 3rd which allows you to budget accordingly if you needed. It lays out what the feel is extremely important to complete that day or in the very near future. Truly, I can’t say enough about the service I have received at Automotive Edge - You would be doing yourself an injustice if you choose not to check them out!

Edit: years later I still am always surprised by how the team goes above and beyond. judging by the parking lot they are quite busy, so word must be getting out, but they can still service my vehicles quickly and often get it done within the day. Original review: I always recommend Automotive Edge. They are honest, transparent, have an app that emails or texts you the inspection with photos and recommended service. Great pricing as well, and loaner cars if needed.

I've been a loyal customer for as long as this site has been open. I always appreciate their attention to detail, individualized customer service and their explanation of what needs attention with my vehicle and WHY. They have good communication from all staff and the online booking feature is also a nice touch. I appreciate seeing the mechanics report prior to approving any major repairs. Having an honest and reliable garage is important for most people when we consider a vehicle is the second largest household expense outside of the mortgage. I know it's a business and I am thankful they aren't trying to upsell or push services on me that are not necessary. The Automotive Edge team hasn't let me down and I continue to recommend them to friends.
